Inline Lever/Lever

A lever/lever door handle is a contemporary handle that can be installed on doors that are new or replacement double glazing handles. This style of handle is available in many designs and finishes. The handle can be positioned and angled to fit the needs of all users. The handle has been endurance tested to 200,000 cycles, which will ensure the quality of the finish as well as the performance of the handle over time. The lever that springs is adjustable to fit a broad range of locks. This is especially useful in doors with smaller door frames in which the cylinder is further back. A lever that is shorter can be used on doors with a latch that can be activated with the thumb on the inside.

Lever Pad

A Lever Pad door handle made of upvc operates differently from lever-type handles on doors. These handles are operated by a single spindle or by two spindles, inline or offset. They are usually employed on UPVC double glazed doors and are available in a variety of variations and finishes.

The handles have been tested to a minimum of 200,000 cycles and are available in several finishes like White Silver, Chrome, & Gold. The finish is BS EN 1670 Grade 5 and resistant to corrosion. This provides the handle with the best performance and long-lasting durability for the purpose it was designed for.

All UPVC handle lever pads come with a spindle, screws and can be mounted on the uPVC door. The backplate fixing centres of 211mm allow for a larger size of handle which is often a benefit in replacing a defective or worn multi point door lock mechanism. The handle levers come with springs, which eliminate the issue of door handles that sag out of horizontal position when not in use.

It is crucial to ensure that the PZ dimensions of both the multipoint lock and the upvc door handle replacement doors when selecting the replacement UPVC spindle and handle. Cylinder locks are typically found on uPVC doors, but they can also be used on other types of door. Euro cylinders can be equipped with up to six pins, with internal and external doors usually having different levels of security.

Choosing the right cylinder is crucial; it is dependent on how your doors and handle are used. For instance, exterior doors must be secured with a higher security cylinder, while internal doors can be secured using a standard cylinder. In addition, some cylinders have extra features which can enhance security even more, like anti-drill and anti-bump characteristics.

To ensure that the euro cylinder is the right size for your door, it must be measured correctly. The cylinder should be measured from the screw hole at the center to the ends of the cylinder. This includes the thumb turn, if there is one. It is best to do this while the lock is in place however, when this isn't possible, you may remove it to measure. A cylinder that extends beyond the handle and escutcheon might be susceptible to attacks like snapping locks, therefore it is important that it's not too long.

Most newer cylinders have been constructed with anti-drill and bump resistance features included in their design. These features are designed to minimize the chances of an attack by causing the cylinder to rotate in the opposite direction. This will help to prevent attacks and protect your doors.

Certain cylinders are made to withstand snapping. This is a more frequent kind of attack on cylinders, where the break line inside the lock is targeted using a special tool to snap off the front of the cylinder and allow the door to open. This is a quicker and simpler method to gain access than the use of a multipoint locking system. It also leaves less evidence of the burglary which can delay insurance claims.

Spring Cassette

These cassettes can be used as a replacement to broken or missing cassettes on the backplate of uPVC door handles. They are sold as one unit. They have a square-cut out that is able to accommodate an 8mm shaft.

These spring cassettes provide a great value solution to the problem of door handles that have become sagging. They are simple to install and will extend the life of your uPVC door.
