However, they do have some flaws that prevent them from being our top pick. One of the flaws of the Q5 is its navigation system doesn't include AI-powered obstacle avoidance. It's thus susceptible to getting stuck on socks and shoes, and it couldn't navigate densely packed rooms very well during our tests. It also doesn't come with a camera to look around corners.

It's also a bit expensive, though it's not as expensive as Ecovacs X2 Omni or the Roborock S8 MaxV Ultra Both of which are equally powerful and more attractive. If you're willing to live with a little more noise and some additional cost, this is a very efficient two-in-one device that should please almost everyone.

The smart robot uses an array of LIDAR and structured light to map out floor plans and identify obstacles, navigating more intelligently than some of its premium competitors. It also comes with a front-mounted camera for real-time hazards detection however this was not completely foolproof in our tests, and could be confused with power cords or obstructions.

Its vacuum cleaner has the capacity to suction up to 7,000 Pascals which is more than sufficient to accomplish the task. It also comes with an attribute known as "Intelligent Dirt Detection", that regulates the vacuum's power and adjusts cleaning frequency for different areas in the house based on how dirty the areas tend to be.
