Best Robotic Mop and Vacuum Combos

The majority of robot vacuums and mops can be customized with an app that can save maps of your home, set cleaning schedules and select mopping modes. They also allow you to alter suction power and fine tune the amount of water and scrub action your mop makes use of.

A mapping function will help your robot navigate through rooms. A feature for avoiding obstacles helps it avoid running over wires, furniture or other toys. These are essential features for my home, which is filled with toys scattered around.

1. Roborock S8 Pro Ultra

The Roborock S8 Pro Ultra is the top-of-the-line mop and vacuum, which is why it's a natural choice to be with a host of features. It can mop and sweep simultaneously, and raise its brushes or mop pads so that soft surfaces don't get wet. It can also avoid obstacles by looking for pets, plants, and other small objects.

The robotic vacuum's maximum suction power is 6,600 pascals. This is the highest power of any other robot vacuum we've test so far. It's also equipped with PreciSense LiDAR navigation that tracks its position, preventing it from getting stuck on objects.

The S8 Pro Ultra's mopping capabilities are also impressive. It can apply constant pressure to the pad that is over 6 Newtons to ensure a thorough cleaning. It also comes with an automatic vacuum and mop robot mop lifting system which lifts the pad when it transitions from laminate to tile hardwood, carpets and rugs to prevent getting soaked by these soft surfaces.

In addition to this it is also the S8 Pro Ultra has self-washing and self-drying features. The pad can be rinsed and then dried with the dock and the dust bin is automatically emptied and returned to it. This means that you can set it and forget it, and only need to change the dust bag or refill the water tank occasionally.

All of this is powered by a 5,200mAh lithium-ion battery. The S8 Pro Ultra ran on its usual vac- and mop-settings for around 160 minutes before it began to lose power, and then returned to its base to recharge. This isn't that far from the 180 minutes that Roborock claims, and is on the same level with other hybrids I've tested.

It's a well-rounded, capable product. The only downside is that it's expensive. But, the sheer number of features makes it a appealing option for anyone who wants to ditch their old stick vacuum and mop. If you are able to justify the hefty price tag, we highly recommend checking this one out.

2. Dreametech L10S Ultra

The Dreametech L10S Ultra robot vacuum and mop is a premium combination. Its premium price tag is justified by its impressive feature set, which includes a large vacuuming capacity and two gyrating mop mops. It has an app-enabled smart controller as well as powerful obstacle-avoidance technology.

The L10S Ultra has a retail price of 999 Euros which is one of the most expensive robotic vacuum and mop combinations available. In my tests, it was able to perform well in all areas of the home, taking out 98.4 percent of the debris on all floor types and managing to lift long hair without tangling. The mops also performed well in delivering outstanding cleaning results with less effort than mid-range models, due to their rotational motion as well as a strong dose of cleaning solution.

The docking station is the main selling aspect of the L10S Ultra. It's multifunctional and sophisticated. The docking station empties the trash bin into a bag for dirt, then refills the water tank to use to mop and also dry mop pads. It is equipped with a real-time danger detection system, and its sophisticated controls let you schedule regular cleaning sessions.

The L10S Ultra does not offer better performance for removing carpet debris in comparison to the other hybrid vacuum mop I tested. The mops on the L10S Ultra are not as effective at removing stubborn staining as the Roborock S7 MaxV Ultra.

Despite the L10S Ultra’s high-end features it still requires regular maintenance. Its base station needs to be cleaned, and the water tank and dust bag must be emptied, cleaned and dried regularly to prevent mildew and unpleasant odors. The mop pads sold separately also need to be changed periodically.

I would recommend the L10S Ultra to anyone with the money. If you're looking to save money I would suggest a less basic model that will allow you to save money while still being able to enjoy hands-free cleaning at your home. Even it were the case that the L10S Ultra was the best robot mop and good robot vacuum vacuum you could purchase, its high cost and constant maintenance will make it seem more an option than a necessity.

3. Eufy S1 Pro

If you're in search of a robot vacuum and mop that will remove dust and dirt on your hard floors while taking care of wet mess then take a look at the Eufy S1 Pro. This powerful robovac/mop combination comes with a powerful 8,000 Pa suction power. It also has a large battery capacity that can be used for vacuuming as well as mowing. It's also fitted with an excellent obstacle-avoidance system. It has a mop with a roller that is self-cleaning, making it stand out among other models which require you to return to the base station to wash the mop pad.

The S1 Pro uses a unique mopping system that is a big difference from the microfibre pads and spinning discs used in other robots. The roller is almost the entire length of the robot and it receives a constant supply of clean, ozonated filtered water from the dock. While it spins, the roller scrubs your floors while soaking up dirt and any dry debris is removed by the side brushes, or swept into the front colision bumper. The S1 Pro then discharges the mop water that is dirty into its base station, which is then sucked up by the tank's heating elements, and is poured into a larger storage canister. The tank that is onboard holds plenty of water, and can manage about a dozen mopping sessions before running dry.

Like many robotic vacuums and mop combos like the S1 Pro is ready to roll out from the box. The S1 Pro does need to be refilled with clean water. This can be accomplished in the cleaning dock. You can also add a cleaning solution to the dock in case you want to have the option of using your own cleaner. If you opt for this option however, you'll need to buy the Eufy-branded cleaning solution which is more expensive than other robot brands allowing you to choose your preferred brand of cleaning solutions.

Like most robots that are available, the S1 Pro did well in the area of coverage and navigation efficiency. It was fast to map a room and it was able to navigate through furniture. It sat on carpets with longer piles a couple of times during my tests. However, this could be improved by updating the software. The S1 Pro is an all-in-one robot that has lots of features at an affordable price.

4. Roborock Qrevo

The Qrevo is Roborock’s entry-level vacuum and mop, but it still has some outstanding features. The dock's multifunction allows emptying the robot's dirtbag, filling its water tanks, and cleaning and sanitizing the mop pads is performed by the dock. The mopping system is capable of cleaning a large portion of an area before it needs to return to its dock, and the vacuum's extreme suction does a nice job of removing debris and pet hair on carpets.

The application that runs this appliance is dense, offering a wide choice of options for customizing the cleaning process. You can choose to manually start the full map and then clean of everything mapped by the device, or you can choose specific rooms, expandable zones, or even a routine that you've created. There are many mopping options which include SmartPlan -- an algorithm that utilizes the mops' sensors to find the most efficient method to clean your home while it maps the space.

The Qrevo performed well during our tests, just as all Roborock models that we've tested. Its navigation system is robust it can map rooms quickly and cleaning them in a neat way. Its 'Normal' pathing setting does a great job of covering a room, leaving no major gaps or missed areas. The Reactive Tech hazard avoidance system is quite reliable, too although it's not as advanced as the color camera system found on the Qrevo Master or the S8 Pro Ultra. It can detect dangers like thick carpets, but it may not always detect small things such as rug tassels or electrical wires.

The most obvious flaw with this device is the absence of a mop-after-vacuum option which could be a problem for those who are frequently vacuuming before cleaning with their robot. There's a good workaround: the app includes an option to "clean up" at the end of each session. This lets you utilize the mopping feature of the vacuum to eliminate the last remnants of dust and debris left behind by the vacuuming. It's a nice touch and can help this robot clean up a little bit better than its less expensive competitors.
