Like most robot vacuum cleaner uk vacuums, the Yeedi Cube also requires some work to get it up and running. This involves establishing an account on the app and connecting the device to your WiFi network. Once you've done that, the machine will begin to vacuum and mop effortlessly.

It is important to note that the mapping process can take a while and may require a few attempts before the Yeedi Cube has an accurate image of your space. In addition the object detection is unpredictable; it was able to skirt furniture and other obstacles but was stuck on a loose tassel rug and had to flip it over to get free. But these are minor issues, and the Yeedi Cube is still a ideal choice for those who want an all-in-one solution for cleaning.

3. Ecovacs Deebot X2 Combo Complete

The Ecovacs Deebot X2 Combo Complete is a three-in one home cleaning solution. Its mopping technology is advanced and features a rotating motion similar to hand scrubbing, which results in floors that are actually cleaned, not just cleaned. The vacuum stick that can be detached is a game changer that can get to places robot vacuums can't.

This model is basically the same as the popular X2 Omni, but with an increased suction power of 8700Pa and other smart features. The upgraded RGBD sensor is able to learn your home's layout better and provide dynamic obstacles avoidance. The smart app allows you to modify a range of settings including AI cleaning and virtual boundaries.

The X2 Combo also has self-preparation. Both the robot vacuum and mop return to their charging station at the end of each job to clean their pads and empty the dust bins, and place the debris into a self sealing bag. It also features an innovative mopping system which utilizes a continuous roller dosed with water to pick dirt and place it in the water that is dirty tank.

Its navigation system was efficient. It avoided the stairs and was able to navigate close to walls without falling. It was unable to handle fine particles and didn't always clear the thresholds in rooms. Its operating noise level is also relatively high, which suggests it could be less of a set-and-forget model than other models.

The S1 Pro, like most robotic vacuums, is equipped with docking technology that allows it to replenish its clean water tank, empty the dust bin and dry and wash the mop, as well as empty its mop pad. This makes upkeep easy and allows the S1 Pro to spend more time cleaning floors in regular schedules. A few hundred dollars less than the S8 and this robot is a slick job of keeping my home office tidy and is able to tackle the corners of my cramped apartment. It uses laser mapping and a camera to build an image of your home which allows it to know where not to go. And, unlike many vacuums with mopping capabilities, it has object/obstacle detection that is able to avoid things like bowls for dogs and dog toys (but not poop!).

It has other great standout features, including a self-emptying dust bin, a mop pad that's self-washing and adjustable to the temperature of the water and a side-reaching sweeper brush that can reach places that other mops can't reach. You can also set cleaning schedules in the app and set custom the settings for each room in your home.

Similar to the S8 model, it comes with multi-room smart mapping, and can distinguish between laminate, carpets and hardwood with high-pile rugs. It can also avoid cleaning rooms that aren't dirty if you're looking to reduce time. If you have a variety of flooring options in your home and don't wish to spend additional money for a Roborock with advanced mapping capabilities, this is a great option.

7. Q5 Pro

If you're looking for a flexible robot vacuum and mop that can manage regular maintenance as well as touch-ups to messy messes that are wet, this robot is a great choice. It comes with a variety of features like the ability to empty the dustbin on its own, the water refill dock, as well as adjustable settings in the app. It's extremely quiet and easily moves around furniture legs or socks. However, it can't remove tangled rug tassels, and its battery drains faster than other models in our tests.

The Q5 Pro, with a price of less than $250, is a powerhouse that comes with a powerful suction and convenient automation, all in a sleek and stylish. It wasn't as efficient as the Roborock S8 MaxV Ultra in our tests for vacuuming however, it performed well. It has a variety of cleaning modes, ranging from the low-power 'Quiet mode which is suitable for small debris to the incredibly powerful "Turbo mode" for carpeted areas. It can even automate the removal and reattachment of mop pads, without getting your carpets soaked.

8. K10 Plus

The K10 Plus is a great two-in-one robot vacuum and mop for those who live in cramped areas. It's quick and quiet, and it can navigate tight spaces efficiently. It's also extremely effective at removing pet hair off carpeting.

It's smaller than its rivals, but doesn't sacrifice any features. It has a decent suction capacity and can be set to take photos of each object it chooses (i.e. chew toys socks, chew toys) and mark them in the app as "not located', so that they will not be taken up in subsequent cleanings. The photos are secured and not connected to your account.

It's great at vacuuming, but not so great at mopping. It uses disposable wet wipes that you clip to the bottom of the bot and it basically drags them around the floor. Compare this to the Roborock S8 MaxV Ultra or Narwhal that have water reservoirs and will automatically wash and attach their mopheads.
