Bar Flamingo is one of the top bars in Asakusa.

The owner bartender is over 80 years old and is no longer working at the bar.

The orange color scheme, red carpet, and glittering ceiling lights create a glamorous interior, reminiscent of a Ginza club.

Straight counter and three tables.

A wide selection of whiskeys are lined up on the back bar.

I visited this bar to kill time before going to an Italian restaurant in the area.

This design is one of my favorites among Baccarat's.

The glass is Baccarat Harcourt.

I can't drink too much because I have something to do next, but I still want to drink.

So I had a half on the rocks.

The floating whiskey looks great against the spherical ice in the Harcourt!

DOUBLEMATURE refers to whiskey that is transferred to a Pedro Ximenez sherry barrel and aged there.

In other words, aging in two barrels creates a rich aroma.

The interior of the bar is a bit flashy, which is rare these days, but the bartender's calm demeanor makes it a very comfortable place.
